DID YOU KNOW THAT THE CENTRAL VALLEY WAS ONCE AN INTREGAL AND THRIVING LOCATION FOR FREIGHT AND PASSENGER TRAIN TRANSPORT? The Friends of the Tulare County Library are pleased to host another “Meet the Author” event featuring, John Bergman, as he discusses his latest book, “The Southern San Joaquin Valley, a Railroad History.” Listen to Mr. Bergman as he describes a brief overview of some of the rail lines between Fresno and Bakersfield from 1872 through 2008 and enjoy his amazing photographs.
